About
Mike and Angie Jacobson
Angie and I both placed our faith and trust in Jesus Christ at a young age. During our high school years, each of us made a personal commitment to trust and follow Jesus wherever He might lead and to faithfully obey His calling on our lives.
We met while attending Bible school in Grand Rapids, MI, Angie pursuing studies in Bible and Christian Education, and I in Bible and Missionary Aviation. During that time, we were married and prepared to serve the Lord on the mission field as a missionary pilot family. However, God graciously redirected our path, leading us instead into ministry within the local church, where we served together working with teenagers.
In the years that followed, our faith in God continued to deepen as He led us along many different paths. We are blessed with six married children and nine grandchildren. Our family is spread across the country, with our children living in Chicago, Madison, Wisconsin, Portland, Seattle, and Boise, Idaho.
Throughout our journey, we have served in a wide variety of ministry and vocational roles. My experience includes serving as an Assistant Camp Director, Youth Pastor, Lead Pastor, Church Planter, Interim Pastor, and most recently as an Administrative Pastor. Along the way, I have also worked as a builder, handyman, maintenance supervisor, furniture restorer, and assistant manager of a retirement community, experiences that have shaped a practical, hands-on approach to ministry, leadership and hospitality.
As we look back, we are filled with awe and gratitude for what God has done in our lives and through the ministries to which He has called us. We have witnessed incredible works of God, lives transformed and churches renewed. Yet without question, the lives changed most profoundly have been our own.
God has been unfailingly faithful, faithfully meeting our needs and directing our steps as we have learned to trust Him along the way. The journey has been both exciting and challenging, filled with many blessings and a few heartaches, all of which have deepened our love for Him and shaped us into who we are today.
